Getting cheeky… with Becca Lip & Cheek Crème
Written by SkinnyintheCity
If you’re like me, you ask just two things of your everyday beauty products: that they’re affordable and that they make you look like yourself, but better. And if it fits in your purse? Bonus. That’s why I felt like I hit the jackpot when I tried Becca Lip & Cheek Crème.
It’s a lightly-tinted, multi-purpose cream makeup that you can use on your lips and cheek (hence the name) to enhance your complexion. One of my friends has used it for years and swears by it, but I hadn’t tried it until this weekend. How much could a little tint do, I thought? But I was out late on Thursday, and an unexpected date came up Friday night. I felt tired, and looked it, too—even after I’d put on my other makeup. So at my friend’s advice, I smoothed some of the cream on my face. I couldn’t believe how much it perked me up and gave me a natural, dewy flush—with no shimmer like you might find in some products. Even better, it’s a tiny compact so it fit in my clutch, and I can smooth it on with my fingers, no messy brush involved. At the end of dinner, I put a touch more on before we went to drinks and I was just like new again—actually, better than new.
Chloe’s tips:
For face To get a flirty flush, apply to the apples of your cheek with a brush or fingertips. Experiment: Put it on before the rest of your makeup for a rosy foundation. Or, for a polished but understated finish, spread it on after your blush or bronzer, or on its own if you’re a minimalist.
For lips If you’re a chapstick girl, dab some of this on top for a slightly rosy hue. Can’t go out without your lipstick? Apply this first to make the color last longer and lighten the tone for daytime.
Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
