Tanya attends the Same Sky Bracelets launch party
On Thursday, November 19th, our Tanya Zuckerbrot attended an event at the Ana Tzarev Gallery in New York City to celebrate the launch of Same Sky Bracelets. Same Sky bracelets were featured as a Skinny and the City Obsession, and are considered the “adult friendship bracelet." Same Sky offers female survivors of the Rwandan Genocide of 1994 an opportunity to put their skills to work and gain the encouragement, pride, and financial resources they need to rebuild their lives. Each woman personally signs the bracelets she makes and the organizations’ website follows the artists’ lives through photos and individual stories. The photo below features Francine LeFrak , founder of Same Sky bracelets with her partner and representative from Riwanda, Janet Nkubana, with Tanya Zuckerbrot.

1) Kim from Watertown, NY:
I have Celiac Disease. I was diagnosed four years ago at age 34. It is quite difficult to give up the foods you love and crave after eating them for so long. I was always a bread and pasta "nut", so this has been quite the lifestyle/eating style change for me. I have made the switch to rice pasta and do not eat much bread. I still make "regular" food for my family and miss eating the foods I ate prior to Celiac. I would love to try the soups from Kettle Cuisine. I hope my name is chosen.
2) Lacey Jane from Durham, NC:
