1. Ashley, age 43 from Bethesda, MD
Well, my favorite breakfast on the go is a chocolate croissant and a cappuccino, but I don’t think that’s what you are looking for ;) Actually, I am a big believer that breakfast is a wonderful way to start your day feeling like you are doing the best you can for yourself – and the best way to do that is to eat healthily. So, when skipping the croissant (which, I’m pleased to say, is the vast majority of the time) my go-to-move is Greek yogurt, blueberries, GoLean Cruch (for, yes, crunch) ground flaxseed and a dribble of honey. Quick to prepare, super healthy, very yummy and can be eaten as I am choosing my outfit/purse/packing the gym bag. Can’t wait to see what your other readers like!
2. Pam, age 46, from Lincoln, RI:
My favorite on the go and everyday breakfast is the Ffactor Diet "Morning Glory" - which is the following:
*One splenda
*1/4 tsp cinnamon
*GG bran flakes
*PB2
*1/4 c Fiber one cereal.
I bring this to my office every day in a plastic container - just add
hot water and I am good to go. But I also travel a good deal, so I
prepare 2-3 individual servings in plastic sandwich bags and no matter
what airport I am in, I can stop by at the nearest coffee kiosk, get a
1/2 cup of hot water, pour in my morning glory and I have a complete,
great breakfast. I especially love it on a plane - when everyone else
is eating peanuts, I have my healthy and filling breakfast!
3. Gwen, age 31, from Piffard, NY:
My favorite breakfast or the go breakfast is a half cup nonfat/low fat cottage cheese with raspberries/blueberries, sliced almonds, cinnamon and 1 packet of splenda if you like your cottage cheese sweet. The almonds add crunch. I didn't think I would even like the cinnamon but how great it is with the entire combination. Thanks for reading!
