Unexpectedly KIND
Written by Rachel Berman
You may have noticed a new snack bar being sold at Starbucks — KIND Fruit + Nut and KIND PLUS. We’ve been a fan of the Fruit + Nut for years. They’re all-natural bars chock full of nutrients and flavor. You can actually see whole pieces of nuts and fruit all mashed together and sweetened with a touch of honey. It’s an all-star bar, and now the new variety, KIND PLUS, has even more added nutrients such as calcium and antioxidants. Both are great snacks for in-between meals.Another reason we love ‘em? KIND’s mission to spread KINDness all around. The founder started producing KIND after beginning PeaceWorks Inc., a business that strives to foster relationships between conflict regions all over the world. If you visit KINDed.com, you can enter the code from your wrapper and print out a card with your own act of kindness. Whether you decide give up your seat on the subway, leave a gift for your neighbor, or help an elderly person cross the street, you can make a small difference. The idea is like that movie Pay It Forward. You treat someone with a random act of kindness and then they do it for a few others. Soon enough everyone is trying to be a better version of themselves — even the most introverted people like Kevin Spacey’s character.
So what small act of kindness have I done, you ask? I’m passing this information on to you, dear readers, to show you how one food company is trying to help us be healthier and happier people. Now you pass it on!

I left some special discount coupons under the door of a former neighbor who was extra kind to me during my move. No note, just the coupons. Surprise!

Thanks for the info! I'm so excited that these bars might finally be available locally! I got a free sample over a year ago -- at least I think it's the same bar (looks the same but with a different wrapper and name) -- and loved it so much. Couldn't find it anywhere in my area. I'll definitely check out Starbucks soon for it. Do you know if it's going to be sold anywhere else?

I just stumbled across these bars while grocery shopping and am so glad I decided to try them out. These bars are absolutely phenomenal. I work out and eat healthy so I am very careful about what I put in my body. Not only are these bars wholesome but they are truly delicious and support a great cause. This product is just great all around. I'm ordering them by the case for my husband and I to enjoy before a workout, bike ride, or just as a snack!

OMG I found these bars by accident when I was looking for protein bars. I only bought two to try them and went back the next day and bought enough to give to everyone in my office to try. Now we are all addicted to something healthy instead of M&M's
